The invoice comes out of the sale, in one click
Issue the sales invoice (NF-e) and the consumer receipt at the counter (NFC-e). Each product's tax details live on its record, set once. When you issue, the system uses what is already in the sale, so you don't type anything again. It works for Simples Nacional and for regular tax regime companies.

What people ask before getting started
What is SquidCore?
It's an online system to run your business: bookings, sales, stock, money and invoices in the same place. It serves service businesses, retail and manufacturing, and it works in the browser, with nothing to install.
Which invoices does SquidCore issue?
Today we issue the two invoices for selling goods in Brazil: the NF-e, the sales invoice, and the NFC-e, the consumer receipt at the counter. The service invoice (NFS-e) and other documents, such as the correction letter, are not in the system yet. If your business needs them, talk to the team.
Do I need a digital certificate?
To issue invoices, you use an A1 digital certificate, which is a file. You upload it, test as much as you like and start issuing for real whenever you want. Certificates on a card or USB token (A3) don't work with the system.
Does it work with more than one shop or company?
It does. Each shop or company has its own calendar, cash register and team, you see everything together, and each person only sees what you allow them to.
How much does it cost?
You can start on Squid Free without paying anything. Paid plans start at R$72 a month, and the pricing page shows what each one includes.

Exactly. Each attendant only gets the tasks you enable, and every action respects the role of whoever asked. If the role can't cancel an invoice, neither can the attendant.
Does the cash register print receipts or use a connected card machine?
SquidCore's cash register handles opening, cash withdrawals, the day's change and counting the cash at close. Card machine payments and receipt printing stay the way you do them today, outside the system. Scales and barcode scanners don't connect to the system yet either.
Can I bring in what I already have?
You can bring in the products from your WooCommerce store all at once, and your bank statement through the file your bank's internet banking generates (OFX). For anything else, talk to the team and we will look at your case.
Can my customers book on their own?
They can. Your business gets a booking site with your name, which can live at your own web address, and the customer signs in with a code sent to their phone. On WhatsApp, the AI attendant books too.
Does the system speak English?
It does. The whole system is in Portuguese and English, and each person on the team picks their own language.
